Senior Manager, Customer Experience
Discovery, our flagship platform, partners with K16 institutions and nonprofits to make career readiness scalable, engaging, and measurable. We’re seeking a Senior Manager of Customer Experience to ensure exceptional service and strong retention across our Nonprofit and University Discovery partnerships. This person will lead the full partner journey—onboarding, support, Student participation, and renewal—while building systems and communication that ensure our partners succeed year over year.
This role is ideal for someone who excels at building relationships, identifying patterns in partner needs, activating student users, and driving operational improvements that lead to results. You’ll be a trusted partner for school and nonprofit leaders, a strategic connector across internal teams, and an advocate for partners’ goals in how we deliver Discovery.
Fellowship Operations Manager
The Fellowship Operations Manager, reporting directly to the Director of Fellowship, will serve as the operational leader for Basta’s flagship direct-to-student offering, the Fellowship. You will be part of a cross-functional team that delivers on the Fellowship Experience’s promise to young people: job placement rates of 75%+, among the highest in the country. In this role, you will navigate the dynamic intersection of program operations, technology integration, event management, and project management between the first phase of the Fellowship, Prepare, and the second phase, Search. This role is a great fit for a strategic operator who thrives in a fast-paced start-up environment, enjoys building systems and improving processes, and has the ability to shift in between big-picture to critical details, effortlessly.
Senior Product Designer – Part-time/Fractional
We're seeking a senior product designer for a part-time/fractional role to drive Seekr's current UX/UI evolution and lay the groundwork for its future AI-powered adaptive learning features. This is a long-term opportunity where we're seeking someone who wants to grow with us as we expand our impact. You'll own user research, interaction design, visual branding, and the creation of a style guide and component library, collaborating closely with our product manager, engineers, and data team. We're seeking a committed partner who recognizes the potential to evolve their role in tandem with Basta's growth trajectory. We're looking for a designer who's excited about building something meaningful over the long haul. You'll enjoy flexible scheduling while seeing your designs have a tangible impact on the career outcomes of first-generation college students.

Discovery, Basta’s core scaling initiative, is an a la carte and synchronous career readiness program that has reached 5,000 students in three years. The Director, Discovery, will drive the program to 2x its participant reach this year while ensuring a high-quality, high-impact experience for students and partners. Rooted in Basta’s mission to create equitable career pathways, this role is central to translating strategic vision into operational excellence, cross-functional alignment, and partner success. Thriving in this role requires a bold, data-informed mindset, a deep commitment to user experience, and a collaborative spirit that energizes teams and fuels innovation. The Director’s leadership will shape the future of Discovery—and with it, Basta’s ability to grow sustainably while delivering transformative outcomes at scale.
