Frequently Asked Questions
Can you say more about the career coaches? Who are they? How are they trained?
Our coaches have vast experiences in instructional and career coaching practices and are internally trained in Basta’s data-driven and research-based approach to career support.
ARE DISCOVERY seSSIONS 1:1 or in cohorts?
They are in flexible peer cohorts. Students will be in sessions with peers on a similar program trajectory and will be able to make lots of various connections across a broad network of participants.
How long are sessions ?
60-90 min each. Sessions are interactive with synchronous content facilitated by a live coach.
Is the Seekr survey a prerequisite to participate in discovery?
Yes, it’ll be part of the seamless student registration process to access all our synchronous sessions and content.
Can students participate more than once? For example, if they participate in sophomore year toward internship, can they participate again for job placement as a senior?
Programming will be accessible by each registered student until June 2026.
how long is the required TIME commitment to participate?
After the Seekr Survey is completed (15-20 mins), there is NO REQUIRED TIME COMMITMENT. Students can participate as much and as often as they choose to.
